It's ironic to see this answer to the world's problems in this political forum. Most people see politics as the means to solving the world's problems. It's merely smoke.

I'm tired of it. His shtick fails to feed the soul. It is in the end a gospel of salvation by capitalistic materialism.

Materialism, either of the capitalistic or communinistic vein, is destructive of men's souls. Rush can't seem to fathom that.

Rush's salvation by conservative GOP ideology as you term it seeks to create a society in which faith can flourish. If he preached what you want him to, he would have some supporters but not as many as he does.

I challange you to document this claim with actual quotes from Rush. You can't do it.
I've been listening to Rush for years and have never heard him "preach" this so-called "gospel of salvation by capitalistic materialism."

Rush preaches the virtues of individual freedom as our forefathers did, as "everyman is endowed by his Creator with inalienable rights...." etc. and the human potential that history has shown brings the greatest prosperity this world has ever seen.
This is a blessing from God and you've misjudged Rush because you are putting the cart before the horse.
