Poor Matt, the usual crazies are on the line. I guess Lynn hasn't arrived yet to screen the callers.

Hi, all.
Whoever, that is, tonite.
Talking about Whitney Houston ... it was a scary picture of her; wonder what happened to her?
Also, I don't get it ... another recount? Do they think that the bearded blunder will now be crowned if they count a few more times? What's the point?
Maybe it has something to do with helping Janet Reno. Of course, there is the obvious desire to discredit Bush, but shouldn't this have already ... I mean I thought this was over.

That picture of Whitney was scary -she's so beautiful. I hate to think what it might be.
Now Drudge is talking about Marlon Brando at a MJ concert - embarrassing.

Brando: talking about child abuse at the Michael Jackson concert. The crowd booed. Screamed at crowd. Liza Minelli. Elizabeth Taylor. Sounds like Night of the Living Dead.
To: altura
Creepy caller about the nunnery. Sounds like an urban legend.
There's good entertainment out there, if you can look behind the pretty faces and flash-in-the-pans.
I for one am tired of celebs parading their dysfunctions as "news." No offense, but Anne Heche isn't that big a star for her problems to get this much press attention

Really! Whitney - emaciated and out of it.
Brando - gigantic and out of it (could you believe the crowd was booing him? - bet that ticked him off - probably wished he WAS the Godfather and could send out some goons)
Liz Taylor - blowsy and out of it; Liza Minelli - weird and out of it.
Maybe Marilyn and Elvis were smart to die young.

I meant to say hi sooner, altura. I just got on the thread - got home late and then had a connection snafu. I'm happily listening on WNTK.

I hate to think what it might be.
Lots of coke a cola?

Have you ever seen pix of the young Marlon Brando? He was sexy in his day.
To: altura
Holywood kills. Whitney should take a look around a Liza, Liz, and Marlon, and then take the first bus out of town before they get her too.
To: vikingchick
Ooops. Hollywood.
To: bleudevil
Are you kidding?
He was VERY sexy! That movie where he fell in love with the Asian woman ... having a mental block about the name, oh, Sayanora. He still has a Presence. I guess that's why they pay him big bucks for cameo roles.

Oh, goody!
Drudge going to play a snippet of the Walters/Heche interview.
I didn't watch it. Can't stand either woman.

Lots of something that wasn't healthy food. Geez, if somebody with all that beauty, talent and $$ succumbs, no wonder other people get their lives so screwed up.
To: altura
Oh, it was awful. Anne was completely insane, and Walters pretended that she wasn't.
To: altura
Remember a few years ago when Roseanne came out with horrible allegations against her parents? They and the rest of the family vehemenently denied them. I think some so-called therapists suggest such things to vulnerable, neurotic women and they really think it happened. (Not that it doesn't happen sometimes)
To: altura
Heche even spoke in a made-up language----oh, he's going to play it!!!!
