Gracey, I had that in my files, can't find the Borders XX1 map. That is a strip if land 124 miles wide; 60 on the U.S. side and 60 on Mexico's side that stretches from the Pacific to the Gulf of Mexico. It is another environmental no mans land that millions of dollars went into from the U.S. taxpayer to provide electricity and water for the little paper shack villages. Neither of which in large part got there. Yet this program which started in the '80s in South America, is still funded. The EPA gets a lot of $$ from this. I will try to find the map.
I can't believe Texas has succumbed to this through their schools. It simply isn't compatible with Americans and I have always thought Texans were an independent bunch. Frightening, just plain frightening!
Like all other states, we have the Dept of Education, NEA, PTA, Teachers Unions, etc., ad nauseum. For some reason, these organizations are infiltrated with leftists, in every state of the union.
Where are the conservatives when it comes to educational matters, when it comes to writing books? Look through your books. How many are written by conservatives, except for a few books on politics, perhaps? Leftists write books, conservatives run businesses, IMO.
Baylor University, the most conservative in Texas, has professors that are mostly Democrats. I was told by one of the department heads that during the last election, the student body was elated and the faculty was saddened. Think about that!!!!!
