What people? It has been 5 years since the lockdowns and force vaccination. No one is lining up at the courthouse to file civil suits against Fauci. There are hundreds of federal judges ready to throw out any such lawsuits, just as they did the Trump civil suits over the 2020 election.

The mainstream media will portray Fauci as a victim of a Republican political lynching to deny him his rights under the Constitution. Most Americans will agree, and return to their normal state of blissful ignorance.

Can and will are two different things. This guy is "ruling class". I'm not holding my breath that he's going to be anything but moderately inconvenienced. Perhaps "publicly ostracized", but even that is unlikely. We're so polarized that the left will gaslight anybody who dares. This guy is, and will continue to be a saint to the same idiots who vote communists into offices. And commies seem to be winning a lot lately.
