Mitch McConnell releases a statement saying that a fall led to his hospitalization. The attending physician confirmed that he sustained only minor injuries after a comprehensive evaluation was done and he is now in a rehabilitation centre.
He also developed pneumonia, which was treated with antibiotics
Is the grip on a small bit of power so strong that a person can’t ever give it up and go home and just heal and live out a normal few years? What does he get out of hanging around the Senate until he croaks? I don’t get it. Go home Mitch, get better, you did a pretty good job. Thanks,….now get out!

I liked this post. The grip must be tighter for the small who don’t believe in God. Power is a false God.
It is a cotton ball.

She went to pick up a clone.
I want live proof. Otherwise they did a good job with the AI.
I understand that falling again…fixes it
Well the answer to your question about hanging on to power is yes, but in McConnell's case he had announced months ago that he will retire at the end of his current term, which will be January 2027.
Good eyes! Thanks for posting.
Sounds like what happened to my Mom, except she is in hospice and was in much better shape than Mitch.
AI can do amazing things imitating a voice. Jennings or Thune saying they spoke to him is not reassuring. According to 911 call, dispatcher said the person had experienced “cardiac arrest” and a paramedic can then be heard saying, “CPR in progress”. You would think after a medical emergency such as this he would have been receiving oxygen while being wheeled out to the ambulance but no, Nothing! McConnell could do a live interview and put an end to any questions.
The ayatollah is an Ass a holla.
A classic from the 70s.
“A classic from the 70s.”
LOL! An absolute classic. Back when “it” was funny.
Why is he in jeans and a button down shirt ?
I’m always heartened when one of our politicians can produce proof of life an request
It took me months (if not years) and, while what I came up with "somewhat" worked, it was crude at best, requiring multiple tasks to complete the project.
The other day, just for the heck of it, I tried chatGPT just to see what it would come up with...figuring all I'd get would be "I don't understand what you are asking". Had not really delved into the AI thing, other than what google search comes up with.
In 10 minutes it gave me a python script for Notepad++ that did everything I was trying to do...and more. Every time I thought, "it won't understand this"...it did.
LOL, I actually started thinking it was going to get mad at me for constantly asking to improve the script(maybe someday it will).
Got me thinking...suppose this technology has been around...but only for the elites?
Imagine how they could have done things to, say...rig the stock market/elections, create fake scenarios to fool the masses, etc. etc.
Nah, that couldn't/wouldn't happen. /s
It’s probably easy enough to spoof that picture using publicly available AI tools.
Comments sections on social media have multiple contradictory conspiracy theories including::
The entire photo is AI generated or AI altered.
The photo is genuine, but 2 years old.
The newspaper is 4 years old.
He was never ill or injured - the entire thing is a publicity stunt to garner sympathy.
I don’t believe that is a real picture of him for a minute. Totally fake in my opinion.
