A small boat crossed the English Channel on Friday carrying 128 people, the largest-ever recorded number to make the journey in a single vessel.
The boat made the journey on Friday, when a total of 225 migrants crossed the Channel on three boats.
More than 12,000 people have reached the UK in small boats so far this year, a fall of 44% on the same period last year.
A Home Office spokesperson said: "Smuggling gangs are taking greater risks than ever, with the number of people they are cramming into unseaworthy boats rising year on year."
The previous record for the number of migrants in one vessel was 125.

“”Smuggling gangs are taking greater risks than ever, with the number of people they are cramming into unseaworthy boats rising year on year.””
THAT’S the risk the UK government sees? WOW!
reminds me of a joke from my childhood:
how do you get 500 Haitians on a cookie-sheet?
Tell them it floats.
The Brits have let this one get away from them.
Tina Louise and Dawn Wells declined to board the ship.
Tina: “Nobody goes on them any more. They’re too crowded.”
tribute to:
Tina Louise (born 1934. Now age 92).
Dawn Wells (1938-2020)
Yogi Berra (1925-2015).
Wow. That’s some accomplishment. But since everyone already gets free food and housing, money, benefits and services, I’m not sure what else could be given by way of a prize
...”The boat made the journey on Friday, when a total of 225 [unwanted and unwelcome invaders] crossed the Channel on three boats.”....
...There...! fixed that....!!
Somebody told these people where to go to catch it.
Somebody bought them lifejackets.
Somebody hired a pilot (since these monkeys cannot navigate across successfully)
And somebody pays for this again and again and again, day after day. Month after month, year after year.
They could investigate who is organizing and funding this, both in France and back in England.
But they don't because they know what the answer will be and they don't want to go there

A few days ago there was a story posted on FR about the new techniques being used by European airports to identify and collect data on incoming passengers.
Does the UK do the same for these boat travelers????

A small boat crossed the English Channel on Friday carrying 128 INVADERS
There, fixed it
Sink the boat. Their drowning will send a message to the rest of them to stop coming. I have seen it first hand. They are garbage people from garbage cultures that live like that because THEY LIKE IT that way.
Wow YOU asked the right questions but as usual no answers or accountability.
UK is doing this to themselves
PLEASE don’t let us fail to stop it here.
HOW DO THEY COUNT PREGNANCIES?

Wow I hope they don’t run out of free houses, free money, free food and free doctors.
If you are reading this and you’re in the middle east or Africa, the UK will give you everything free for life and will pay you to have many, many kids. All you have to do is show up, and you don’t even need a passport or in fact any ID or paperwork at all.
It looks ~28’ long. according to an ai web search, a basic 28’ rigid inflatable boat (RIB) can be bought from china for $16000 - $17000. A 28’ zodiac can be bought for $33000 to $45000.
Were they going from England to France?
