Part of it is our freedom. We are not submissive and do not live in fear. We went to Cuba (shhh before it was opened) and before we even checked in to our hotel went into the bar to have a drink. We hadn’t said a word to anyone before the waitress came over and said...Americanos? We asked...how did you know? She said....you always walk like you own the place.
What does that even mean? Walk like we’re not looking over our shoulders for the secret police? Walk like free people?
