It's summer, which means the weather is hot again. In Europe, which is in the grip of a heatwave, the BBC says some 1,300 people have died from the rising temps. Despite that, Europeans remain reluctant to consider air conditioning. Sure, there are some areas where people are fighting over air conditioning units, but the climate change hysteria has been so ingrained in the culture that many people would rather drop dead than plug in an air conditioning unit that uses an infinitesimal amount of energy.
In Germany, a public broadcaster is waging an 'anti-AC campaign' telling people air conditioning is dangerous.

Europe is starting to ban A/C for 2 reasons:
1. To kill old people with heat stroke who use up all the tax dollars in socialized medicine.
2. To make everyone feel hot and miserable so the โglobal warmingโ scam feels more real and they can pass more tax increases.
These globalist elites are truly evil.

They were the same 30-35 years ago when I lived there. They’d rather sit there and sweat like pigs for a month or so every summer. Its gross and totally unnecessary.
The BBC says laments the awfulness of air conditioning,
from inside their AC controlled studio space.
Oh, get a load of this, per AI sourced to Parliament...
“The UK Parliament uses a mix of modern and historic climate control. The Palace of Westminster utilizes central mechanical air conditioning for specific critical zones (like the Debating Chamber), while nearby Portcullis House uses an advanced, unpowered eco-friendly system that extracts heat using groundwater and natural convection...”
The Stupid is Strong
Speaking of the Beeb, per AI...
“The BBCโs London headquarters at Broadcasting House uses a highly sophisticated chilled-beam cooling system combined with an acoustic-damped ventilation plenum. Designed to keep massive, heat-generating newsrooms comfortable without introducing mechanical noise or vibration that could interrupt broadcasts, the building manages indoor temperatures using advanced central air handling units.”
Still using AI, with unfo sourced from the Beeb...
“The BBC does not publish a standalone annual budget exclusively for air conditioning. Instead, cooling and heating costs fall under the general facilities, energy, and maintenance budgets for New Broadcasting House in London...”
Cagey little expletives-deleted, aren’t they...
'Do your part!' Furious French blame US for deadly European heatwaves
France has long held suspicious attitudes towards air conditioning.
The French often associate AC, or "la clim", with illness, due to a belief in the mysterious "thermal shock".
It is widely thought a sudden, drastic difference between hot outside air and cold indoor air shocks the body, causing colds, sore throats, or even a loss of consciousness.
Didn’t Richard III die from heat stroke?
“AC!, AC!, My Kingdom for AC!”
Learned that more Europeans die from heat than Americans from non-suicidal gun violence. Green energy, stupidity, lack of infrastructure for power grids, insane politics, media misdirection, all of it leads to dead people for no good reason.
Germany’s public broadcaster is sitting in an air conditioned studio bloviating about globull warming I will guarantee.
Riding the Tube with the strap hangars was a challenge in London when I lived there.
Its pretty simple
EU does not have the energy sources, nor can they afford it.
their societies have departed 1st world status, are in 2nd, and heading towards 3rd.
Data centers must take all the electricity who needs air conditioning?
I wonder if European elites have ac in their homes.๐ค
This thing with A/C is one of the most chilling Orwellian things ever, 21st century advanced nation governments forbidding house cooling during summer heat, even as citizens are dying for lack of simple, ordinary house cooling.
as earlier, europistan rising.
I’m so glad we had the World Cup here with all the Germans coming to be our honored guests. In return they got the heat of places like Houston and Dallas and the pleasure of escaping into air conditioning, which they also had to note is present in just about every house in Texas, regardless of the wealth of the owners. That makes a terrific contrast to the horrible socialism that’s afflicted Germany and left people dying by the hundreds from excessive heat, most of which deaths could have been prevented by air conditioning.
