Out of a planned 1,419 miles of Primary Smart Wall, 708 miles of Secondary Smart Wall, and 536 miles of Waterborne Barrier; all but the last 124 miles has already been awarded on contract, as of 18 June 2026.
The rate of wall building has exceeded 5 miles per week, and is expected to reach a mile per day this month or next, as more and more segments begin construction.
The complete project has been funded up front, and now has been overwhelmingly awarded on contract. The rate of construction will continue accelerating over the coming months, as many new awardees start work.
To date, the overall planned project is currently under budget, and ahead of schedule, with the original schedule set to complete prior to the end of the current Presidential Administration.

I remember the liberals saying, “It won’t work.”
Compare this project to California’s High Speed Rail, or Boston’s Big Dig.
Trump’s Wall is going up ahead of schedule, under budget, and achieving its intended effects in controlling the border.
This would have been completed in Trump’s first term if it weren’t for the Republicans.
What I voted for.
Each and every Dem candidate or Dem office holder should be asked at every debate and at every opportunity if they would tear it down from now on. RINOs too.
I still maintain that mines would be more effective and cheaper.

Better get er done before another Dem President is elected and stops it in its tracks. They do not tolerate barriers to their prospective voter imports’
