Hollywood stars are weighing in after Spencer Pratt’s bid to become Los Angeles mayor came to an end, after the candidate failed to secure enough votes to advance to a runoff against incumbent Mayor Karen Bass.
Councilwoman Nithya Raman surged ahead in the June primary, setting up a November showdown with Bass while knocking the former “The Hills” star out of the race. Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, who has repeatedly slammed Pratt, celebrated the news.

Jimmy- The BIG LOSER!
Kimmel is a scum sucking bottom feeder.
Does “effem” work here?
With the number of properties he owns in South California, he will be sorry.
Funny how the “surges” always favor Demonrats and come after election day with the “mail-in” bunch.
We should kick California out of the union but we’ll keep San Diego (and other military bases) because that’s federal property.
You don’t go from 1 in 5 votes in the first 60% of counting to 2:1 on the last 40%. It just doesn’t happen. I have a pretty good idea how you could rig that to happen given California’s voting laws, but it does not happen naturally. If it does you might as well throw out every statistical sample size ever created. Pull all drugs off the market because the sample sizes used to prove efficacy are no longer valid.
Pratt is just getting warmed-up and now is totally unconstrained by campaign finance and other restrictions.
Jiminy who?
He got enough votes, he just didn't get enough ballots.
Why did they suddenly stop counting?
EC
Because Raman was suddenly winning.
Nithya Raman won’t bring responsible government to LA.
Her answer to complaints will be “Nithya bidness.”
