If Bass doesn’t win then the machine has stripped a cog or the powers that be in LA have decided they need a Republican to break his bones trying to fix the mess and who can then be handed all the blame for the LA sickness and next time they can run on cleaning up the now Republican’s mess.
Of course Bass will win in the general. The goal is to keep a Republican off the ballot.
With no republicans at the top of the ticket, conservative voters will feel it’s useless to even vote. On election night Steve Hilton received 215,000 votes from LA.
It’s the down ballot congressional races that are the brass ring and Pratt is the linchpin.They MUST keep him off the ballot.
