So did Booker T Washington over 100 years ago. He was spoke (or wrote) about a certain type of “negro” (IIRC he used that very word) who constantly spoke about the wrongs to which black people had (truly) been subjected. He said that such people did so basically because it brought them fame and allowed them to make a good living.I saw the exact quote once on google...don't know if it's still there.
