Nigel Farage has declared that Labour faces electoral annihilation in Wales on Thursday, telling a Reform rally the nation has been reduced to a "basket case" by more than 20 years of Labour governance.
Addressing supporters in Merthyr Tydfil on Tuesday in what he billed as the campaign's "last big speech," Mr Farage cast the Senedd vote as a verdict on Sir Keir Starmer's time in Downing Street.
Both Reform and Plaid Cymru have led opinion polls in the run-up to Thursday's vote, pushing Labour into third place.
Mr Farage said: "The Labour Party have not lost an election in Wales for over a century, think about that. The party that has been able, frankly, to take Wales for granted for over 100 years, on Thursday, will deservedly get smashed to smithereens by the electorate. And, boy, don't they deserve it."
He said: "We have a Labour Party in government with, I genuinely believe, the worst, the most indecisive, the most hopeless and, above all, the most unpatriotic Prime Minister we've ever had in any of our lifetimes."
