The mother of slain college student Sheridan Gorman is speaking out, vowing a "fight for justice" after the 18-year-old was allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant earlier this month in Chicago.
Jessica Gorman delivered emotional remarks Saturday at a vigil in Yorktown Heights, New York, honoring her daughter, a Loyola University Chicago freshman whose life was cut short in what authorities describe as a sudden, violent attack.
"I want to say this gently, but honestly, as a mom. I'm angry," Jessica Gorman said. "I'm like completely heartbroken, and we are going to fight for justice for our sweet Sheridan, and we're going to fight for change."
While acknowledging that "not everyone" will see the situation the same way, Jessica Gorman underscored what she described as a universal truth shared by parents.
"At the heart of all of this, we all want the same thing — for your children and for ours to be safe, to be protected, and to come home," Jessica Gorman said. "Because, at the end of the day, that's what this is all about. All of our kids, every single one of them, protecting them, loving them, showing up for them. And that is how we honor her."

I know about the family through others- the mother is hardcore pro-Trump and will fight like hell against the malfeasance that killed her daughter....last week i attended a "rally" held 10 minutes where Sheridan lived. The rally- in which local dim politicians spoke- was a vigil for ICE agitators shot by ICE agents who were protecting themselves. As they mourned the ICE agitators and decried the plight of immigrants in America today- i held up pictures of Sheridan- not a single dim politician mentioned her name...
The dem party, Biden, Harrris and Mayorkas should be indicted for breaking immigration law by letting 20 million illegals into the Country.
Uphill battle. It’s sad because an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. The left is naive enough to not think this through except when it’s getting ahead of conservatives. The more crime and corruption the more likely the public is to accept and surrender to what’s wrong out there.
These Rallies should be in front of judge’s homes that is the only way to stop this. Our court system is Obama controlled and will only get worse.

If he gets in front of a lefty Chicago judge, I fear he'll be given either a light sentence or sent to a mental facility for a few years and released - back into the US, b/c Chicago is a "sanctuary city" and Illinois a "sanctuary state."
I believe the murderer should be publicly executed, quickly and without mercy.

I can’t even imagine spending 18 years raising a daughter, pouring my blood, sweat, and tears into shaping her to become a reponsible, caring adult, and then having her taken from me through sensless violence by someone who shouldn’t be here and who was allowed to be by corrupt politicians who benefit from letting such murderers live among us.
If a family member took justice into his or her own hands against those who caused this, how could a jury unanimously convict? What would be the argument? Law and order? Hah!
This will stop when politicians, DAs, judges, and other agents of chaos who enable these murderers are swinging from ropes. Then and only then.
I have been born and raised in Chicago. I am a Conservative Latina. I fought illegal immigration in Chicago until I moved out at 56 yrs old. I can tell you don’t forget history or we will repeat it. Many many REPUBLICANS Voted in Tons of benefits for illegal aliens. From 2000 until 2012 when I finally left, if you don’t warn and strike out at Illinois Republicans who went along with it all, we are still screwed. Illinois House Republicans helped create this Sanctuary by handing out lots of Taxpayer provided benefits for illegal aliens.

I think this “brain damage” needs to be PROVEN.
From what I can tell, he may have part of his cranium fractured in one very shallow area front left, but brain damage from that is questionable.
He can display gang hand signals and also there’s also a pic of him looking at a CELL PHONE. The defense is full of bullpucky.
