Rubio spoke highly of Victor Orban at that tarmac presser.

Jeanne Shaheen and Republican Thom Tillis

Two of the biggest scumbags in DC. Tillis is gone in 8 months but it’s not soon enough.

“Hungary should be commended for its actions!”

>>>>>>>

Orbán is acting like a delinquent. He stands alone in the EU in defying Trump’s demand that European countries stop buying Russian oil. And yet, some people argue he should be praised for opposing Trump on that? That makes no sense to me.

He is also one of the biggest grifters in the EU, effectively behaving like a socialist heavily dependent on massive EU subsidies. Without the financial support Hungary receives from the EU, its economy would sink to a point of no return.

At the same time, he is allowing China to erode Hungary’s independence, making the country increasingly dependent on Beijing. His government also appeases a neo-Soviet Russia and aligns itself with socialist regimes hostile to European stability.

There are even strong allegations that members of his government have recently shared confidential EU discussions with the Kremlin. That would amount to a serious breach of trust—arguably even treasonous behavior.

Hungary’s economy is among the weakest in Europe, and much of the responsibility lies with Orbán’s leadership.

The only area where Hungary appears to perform relatively well is in its strict immigration policies. Beyond that, the overall picture is deeply concerning. Without continued and substantial EU support, Hungary could risk becoming a failed state.
