And yet if it wasn't government doing this, you'd have a pretty good case against your stalker.

Yes ... it's perfectly within our rights guaranteed by the First Amendment to make photographic, audio, and video of public servants while they are in public. OF COURSE they don't like it ... they want to record us, all the time, everywhere ... but they sure hate being recorded themselves. What are they trying to hide?
