There is no declared war with Venezuela and even during war killing people like that was wrong.

It seems we as a country are willing to approve of things that we refuse to accept and criticize other countries of doing. We have lost the moral and ethical high ground.

Those boats could have easily been interdicted, boarded, and searched for contraband. What wasn’t that done?

Trump wants to play the tough guy authoritarian with no limits on his power, bit there are limits and I am amazed at the number of people that support this kind of action.

Even more surprised at the number of people who think this about drugs when it isn’t, it’s about regime change and getting control of their natural resources since our gambit with Russia and Iran failed for the same reason.

Yes, because the Treat obligations bind the signatory in all such conflicts. We are also bound by the international “Laws of War,” most of which have been in place for centuries now.

If Trump is executing a war against Venezuela and the drug cartels, he should get a Congressional resolution to make it all legal. If Trump is not executing a bona fide war against Venezuela and the cartels, none of this is more than a murder of the criminal suspects.

Our actions against Venezuela are one or the other. Both have consequences for the people carrying out the orders.
