The son of former US Ambassador Nikki Haley has raged against legal immigration and foreign aid to Israel in a stunning interview with Tucker Carlson.
Nalin Haley, 24, called for restricting foreign students from attending American universities and banning naturalized US citizens from holding public office.
Haley is fast-becoming a rising star among the dissident 'America First' right and Gen Z nationalists who hail his rejection of his mother's neoconservative orthodoxy as the unfiltered voice of a new generation.
'Naturalized citizens should not be able to hold public office. Growing up here is a big part of understanding the country,' Nalin, whose grandparents were Indian immigrants, told Carlson in an interview that aired Wednesday night.
'We need to stop and limit the amount of foreign students who are coming to universities. Some of them are spies for foreign governments ... But it is just that we should put our kids first.'
The political scion - in a marked contrast to his mother's famously pro-Israel stance - argued that America should slash all foreign aid.
Haley's position highlights a growing nationalist and skeptical sentiment among younger conservatives, which he described as an 'America First' outlook.
Carlson asked, 'I keep reading that young people's views of Israel are increasingly skeptical, if not hostile, do you think that's true?
'Absolutely,' Haley responded. 'I don't think it's anything we've done. I think it's all reliant on Israel. That's on them, actually, not on us.'
'And if they want a better relationship with the United States, they need to stop interfering in our politics,' Haley said.
'And it's not just Israel. I mean, we need to ban foreign aid…We should not have a single dime going to another country when we have people in poverty with bad schools, medical debt, all that stuff. It makes no sense. That's part of America first.'

How quaint, thinking we're still talking about conservatism and Republicans.
There are two parties in the United States today. Nationalist Populism and Social Justice Marxism.
The (D) and (R), liberal and conservative labels mean nothing more than a tool to get on a ballot.
Trump's economic policies are still conservative (tax cuts, reducing the size of government) and are and will continue to work. Negotiating horrible trade deals and revenue from tariffs are also beneficial to the economy and country.
The Republican party has no chance of staying a majority party nor does any Republican Presidential candidate have a chance of winning the Presidency in our lifetimes unless they embrace the working class, put American citizens ahead of the interests of the elite and continue to secure the borders.
With a $39 trillion debt, it's absolutely fair to question foreign aid to any country and demand justification for billions of dollars going to a foreign source.
Limiting or banning Muslim immigration and securing the borders is infinitely more important to the safety of US citizens than anything we're doing in the middle east.
In fact, one could make the case, it's our involvement in the middle that lead to 9/11 and other terrorist attacks in this country and against US interests.
