If the Democrats want to filibuster, make them stand one by one in the front of the Senate and talk continuously. They don’t want to come to any agreement, they just want Republicans to give in.

Ban the Senate members from going home locally and eating out.
Speaker Mike Johnson can also shut off the water to the Capitol gyms.

What ever you do Senate... DON’T CAVE! He already has.
Thune said that the immediate goal is to get text of the minibus nailed down and released, with a hope of voting on that some time this weekend.
They've already established he's a whore - now they're just negotiating the price.

This isn’t about the Senate staying in session until Democrats vote to restart the Government.
It’s about preventing Trump from making recess appointments.

None of this 💩 matters as the House won’t approve ANYTHING but the clean CR they already passed.

In 1907, JP Morgan locked bankers in his private library to force them to agree to a plan to stop a financial panic. Lock all Senate members in the Senate Chambers until a a deal is done.

The Senate has been and continues to be in Session.
Trump can only make appointments if Senate is in Recess.

He has not caved. Look up the minibus items.

“0” to do with recess appointments.
To: Sacajaweau
Led by the one-year ACA tax credits extension, the new offer was rejected swiftly by the GOP. Any contemplation of this is a cave.
There are several instances of "minibus" out there, from years back (2023) to current.

ACA and the minibus items are two separate things.
