Classic example how what Hollywood does. That show started as traditional story based on fairy tales and they worked in the BS. It got more and more ham fisted. The word woke wasn’t used yet but that is exactly what it was and it ruined what was a family show.
I was excited for the second season of The Last of Us until on the very first episode the teenager in the series that Pedro Pascal’s character saves goes lesbian. I shut it off and haven’t watched it since.

It will be (per your opinion) a little less action packed, but I create free open source audio books all the time and post them here on Free Republic.
New audiobook release: John Hancock

New audiobook release: America’s Retreat from Victory; The Story of George Catlett Marshall, by Senator Joe McCarthy

There are dozens of them by searching for the key word “””freeperbookclub””” and we have more on the way working toward completion.

There’s worse things in the world than increasing your education and the knowledge of those around you.
When shutting of the TV, it has to be replaced with something. It’s a humble offering. And also if there’s something you would like to see created I’m open to suggestions.
Seasons 1-5 were great. It went downhill in season six. Once he purchased the ranch, the whole tone and tenor changed.
i wouldn’t know... i cut that cord 20+ years ago and haven’t looked back
Excuse me while I puke.
Remember when it was stated, “we just want to be left alone.”? Now every major network are the groomers and recruiters for the Lesbian, Gay, Bestiality, Transgender movement.
I can imagine in the making of EVERY series or movie there is a checklist and one of those checkboxes is LGBT CHARACTERS and sub check boxes to go with that.
ARE LGBT characterized as STRONG?
ARE LGBT portrayed in a POSITIVE WAY?
The nation has been indoctrinated/groomed into a position that LGBT is normal behavior and not the abomination that it is. If you want to destroy a nation what better way than to get its population to abandon the family!
The joy is we can walk away and they go broke. Film, theatre attendance & Tv studios profits are dropping and many multi million $ losses have occurred for recent releases.

That makes me smile. Arrogance goes before a fall.
Primetime TV includes streaming. So people who stream modern series are primarily the ones effected.
I tried watching a couple modern series that people here liked but ...yuk. Stopped. I watch old series and self made youtube videos now.
I haven’t watched t.v. in over 10 years, so I really don’t know how bad it is now. I don’t plan to find out.
I’m finding more classics on the streaming services, even free ones like Tubi. Twilight Zone, Barny Miller, Jonny Quest, and many others. These are my escape vehicles during down time.
It’s interesting watching older “progressive” shows like MTM. You see the battle being waged even back then. Feminism was ugly from the very start.
Why would any sane person pop for freak shows what’s next how to eat paint with chop sticks.
“When I last watched TV in 2011 I was watching a show “Once Upon a Time”. They ran an episode with a lesbian love story. That ended the series for me. People’s choices are their own but that kind of programming is an instant turnoff.”
They got me twice; Lost and the Walking Dead. Enjoyed both shows right up to the homosexual kissing. Stopped watching both immediately. They won’t get me again because I’m never going to watch their crap.
Tubi is definately one of my favorites. It has a great selection of old movies.
Hubby insisted on getting Max (HBO) because of sports. Turns out it has TCM and the Criterion Collection. I’ve been watching their silent movies recently and really enjoying those.
