I am surprised no one has used the Chinese metaphors.
We are retired now, and will fly mostly at night, late. The controllers are much more relaxed and the airspace is much less congested. It's also a lot easier to make out traffic in the dark. That applies to planes on the ground, taxiing as well. The air is much less bumpy and turbulent.
I only fly parts 91 and 135 now due to a pacemaker and have a reduced class medical. My wife has time in type and can take the yoke.
