Definitely doable. I did a red-eye non-stop from Honolulu to Atlanta on a Delta L-1011. That was some 32 or 33 years back. The L-1011 was a predecessor of the MD11.

The L1011 was a great long haul cargo bird. Many still in service.

The L-1011 was a predecessor of the MD11.

No they are two different airplanes, similar tri-jet configuration. Lockheed made the L-1011, McDonnell Douglas made the DC-10 and MD-11.
