I gotta tell you, having worked with all of them, and CPSI, late in my IT career doing charting template mods to improve efficiency...they all suck. I’ve had more than one MD tell me:”I’d rather have paper charting”. I don’t like the thought of my MD, even an MA having to do that.

What are the three leading EHR systems?
AI Overview
Developer-Friendly EHR Systems to Watch in 2025 › ObjectStyle.Com
The top three EHR systems are Epic, Oracle Health (formerly Cerner), and MEDITECH, based on their large market share in the inpatient hospital market. Epic holds the largest share, followed by Oracle Cerner, which solidified its position after acquiring Cerner, and MEDITECH rounds out the top three, according to Definitive Healthcare.

1) RFK needs to cut much. The way a bureaucrat in the swamp justifies existence is to create the need for endless reports and studies that consume the time of others.
2) We need to get serious about the ambulance chasers.
3) Government needs to quit subsidizing huge medical centers that suck money and patients from the non-medical center areas.
4) . . . .

My PHC provider is a nurse practitioner who set up a concierge service. $50 a month or $500.00 a year if you pay for the whole year up front unlimited business hour access. $30 charge if you contact her outside of 8:00-6:00 M-F.

My tests are run through the local medical group and are covered by my insurance. She is far more competent than any of the providers in the local medical group.

—”On average, female doctors quit working full time within 7 years of graduation.”

This is done with intent.
My MD brother-in-law explained years ago that the AMA did not want an increase the number of working physicians, also they count as a minority.

Two for one, and most are gone in a few years.

Notice how many African and Indian doctors there are now. American doctors are quitting and of course the solution is to import a bunch of H1b’s who will work for half the salary to get into the U.S. Just like in tech they’re trying to get Americans to quit so they can import a bunch of cheap foreigners. The medical field is full of H1b abuse, it’s not just tech.

We need to know the base numbers those percentage values are based on.

For the sake of argument, if there was only one single administrator in 1970, there’d be 32 in 2009. And if there’d been 1 million doctors on 1970, there’d be 2.5 million in 2009. Still, one would have hoped for a linear correlation of the two numbers.

More accurately, if a doctor only needed a nurse, the doctor now need at least 1 admin for insurance.
