A London mosque that barred women and girls over the age of 12 from participating in a charity fun run may have breached the Equality Act, a barrister has claimed.
East London Mosque introduced the controversial restrictions for its event held in Victoria Park on Sunday.
Despite being advertised on its website as a “family-friendly” and “inclusive” event open to men and boys of all ages, women and girls over 12 were not allowed to take part. However, the website noted that “everyone is welcome at the park to cheer on the runners.”

The guy probably even has a MAGA hat hidden in a closet at home. Better get a search warrant for that, too.
