I'm still waiting for a VA governor race poll that includes ONLY days post disastrous (for Spanberger) debate. There is ONE poll (Trafalgar) that does cover ONE post-debate day but includes two day prior to the debate. And even that poll showed the gap narrowed to less than three points.

Hopefully we will be getting post debate polls later this week.

To be fair, he’s likely the first Secretary of Transportation whose name virtually every American knew. Taking three months off with no one noticing, riding the last block to work on his bike, declaring highways racist, East Palestine, Ohio, the lists of accomplishments just goes on and on.

That might not work in Virginia since it is chock full of federal workers and could serve to inspire them even more to go to the polls. At this point, this election is about turnout and the motivation post-debate is on the side of WES supporters.
