We can’t have heroes from American history anymore and nobody nowadays is very heroic, so serial killers seem like a logical choice for Hollywood heroes.
I am reminded of when Sue lyon married some guy in prison. Also the Boston Marathon bomber has lots of girls after him.
I read a couple of books on him and other serial killers back in the late 70's...prior to taking a uniformed job in NY State's prison system. Back in the early 80's while working at Auburn, Winston Moseley who killed Kitty Genovese in NY City, and Ron DeFeo, who murdered his family in Amityville were prisoners there. Joseph Chrisopher, the .22 caliber killer was in our Segregation unit for a while.
Ryan Murphy is the sicko Hollywood guy who keeps coming up with vile content. I will never watch anything with his name attached to it.
It is sometimes good that people are reminded of the monsters that exist in real life. I worked in NY State’s prison system for 25 years. When I started in 1980, they told us to remember, that not all the criminals are behind bars. And that comment is even more relevant today. Not all criminals and nutcases are behind bars unfortunately, and every day we are reminded of that when an innocent person’s life is snuffed out by one of them. Unfortunately, there are always going to be idiots to look at these monsters as heroes, but maybe shows like this one will wake some people up the horrors that are still walking around on the street.
So, then...TikTok is [at least one more] cause of the true pandemic.

My Grandfather was a guard at Walpole State Prison in MA in the 60s and 70s. He said Albert DeSalvo, better known as The Boston Strangler, was such a polite, soft spoken man it was spooky. Monsters are everywhere.
