By law, and in accordance with Article II of the Constitution, a POTUS has virtually UNLIMITED power to eradicate a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
Hell, he could use nukes if he wanted to.
On what spot? Where Biden crapped himself in the Oval Office and the carpet stain didn’t come out?
Not sure about the ‘foreign’ part, but I thought Antifa was declared by Trump to be a terrorist organization maybe 10 days ago. Perhaps this is another part of that same process of official declaration.
Their leaders are apparently in the backwoods of Sweden somewhere now. Smoke ‘em out. Put Europe on the hot seat for harboring foreign designated terrorists.
It’s nice having a serious person as president.
If foreigners are bankrolling them then they are a domestic AND foreign terrorist organization. Send the Marines to Portland and Chicago and eradicate the oregon and illinois contingent.
That was Domestic. The leaders and financiers are rumored to have fled the country, to Sweden specifically but that is all rumor. So if they are now overseas, then he has the authority to declare them an international terror group.
I wonder if they will arrest their mommies for harboring them in their basements.
I agree. I thought he said international toward the end, but I thought ANTIFA was the same turd.
Rose City Antifa (Portland) was started by a couple who have since fled to Sweden and are controlling activities from there.
When are we weapons hot when we see one?
And, no DOJ crap for doing the gov. job.
And here’s the wind up,,
,,,the pitch is coming right over home plate ,
,,,WHACK !!!
AND THE TRUMPSTER KNOCKS IT OUTA THE PARK
AND THE FANS STAND, CHEER AND GO WILD !
Another Trump home run score !
It's alleged that Antifa in the U.S. receives some foreign funding. I think that's the reasoning for labeling them foreign terrorists .
Absolutelty fantastic news! I have waited YEARS for a leader to clean up a lot of messes.
Oh Goodie!!
That's even better than designating Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization!!
Antifaschistische Aktion, know as antifa for short, was born in the Weimar Republic in the 1930s as the pro-Soviet paramilitary street-thug arm of the German Communist Party. Their spread to the US doesn’t erase their roots, They are a foreign terror organization. I have no doubt that some of their support comes from over seas, and designating them a FTA likely give the FBI and CIA some tools to identify that support.
It’s FOREIGN because it’s being run from SWEDEN!
Makes sense.
The term "Antifa" comes from Antifaschistische Aktion, a militant group founded by the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) in Berlin, Germany, in May 1932. It was created to counter Nazi forces during the Weimar Republic. The group was suppressed after the Nazis took power in 1933.
During the Weimar Republic, Berlin was a hotbed of political extremism due to the fallout from World War I, including economic crises (hyperinflation in 1923, the Great Depression from 1929), widespread unemployment, and resentment over the Treaty of Versailles. Two key groups frequently clashed in open street warfare:
Communists (KPD): The KPD, inspired by the Bolshevik Revolution, sought a socialist revolution in Germany. They organized paramilitary units like the Roter Frontkämpferbund (RFB, Red Front Fighters’ League), founded in 1924, to protect working-class neighborhoods and confront right-wing groups.
Veterans and Paramilitaries (note that "historians" label then "right wing"): Many World War I veterans, disillusioned by defeat and the Weimar government, joined nationalist and reactionary groups. These included the Freikorps (early 1920s), monarchist militias, and later the Nazi Party’s Sturmabteilung (SA, Stormtroopers), founded in 1921. The SA grew significantly in the late 1920s, engaging in violent street brawls to intimidate opponents and assert Nazi dominance.
This violence peaked in the late 1920s and early 1930s, with Berlin as a primary battleground:
1920s: The RFB and other communist militias clashed with Freikorps and early Nazi groups, as well as police, in working-class districts like Wedding and Neukölln. These confrontations involved fists, clubs, knives, and occasionally firearms, often resulting in injuries and deaths.
Late 1920s–Early 1930s: As the Nazi Party gained traction, the SA became the primary antagonist, targeting communists and socialists. The KPD’s RFB was banned in 1929 after deadly clashes (e.g., the May 1, 1929, riots in Berlin, where police killed several communists), but communist militancy continued through informal groups.
The 1932 Antifaschistische Aktion Connection to 2025 antifa
The Antifaschistische Aktion, established by the KPD in 1932, was a direct response to the escalating street warfare and the growing Nazi threat. It built on the earlier communist militancy of the 1920s, particularly the RFB’s tactics, but was framed as a broader anti-fascist front to unite leftists against the Nazis before the critical July 1932 Reichstag elections.
Key connections of antifa to the 1920s street warfare include: Continuity of Communist Militancy: The KPD had a decade of experience organizing street-level resistance through the RFB and other groups.
Antifaschistische Aktion inherited this tradition, focusing on direct action—rallies, counter-demonstrations, and physical confrontations—to disrupt Nazi organizing.
The SA, which had grown to over 400,000 members by 1932, was the primary target of Antifaschistische Aktion, just as it had been for the RFB in the late 1920s. Both groups aimed to counter the SA’s street presence, which included marches, propaganda, and attacks on leftists.
Urban Battlegrounds: Berlin’s working-class neighborhoods, where communists were strong, remained central to these clashes. The 1920s violence set the stage for Antifaschistische Aktion’s strategy of defending these areas and “no platforming” Nazis through force if necessary.
However, Antifaschistische Aktion was distinct from earlier efforts in its attempt to present a united front, though it remained KPD-dominated and often alienated Social Democrats (e.g., the Iron Front), continuing the sectarian divides of the 1920s.
(All clear? Clear as mud to me!) More...
In the United States, the movement grew from the 1980s punk subculture opposing neo-Nazi skinheads. The Anti-Racist Action (ARA) network began in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1987. The first U.S. group to use the "Antifa" name was Rose City Antifa, founded in Portland, Oregon, in 2007.
Today, Antifa is a global, leaderless network using nonviolent and sometimes confrontational tactics to oppose extremism.
Also, today, they oppose "white supremacy" yet they are almost all white AND they are working to become "supreme" (more twisted irony there).
