I’ll judge results. If the hostages are released Hamas has definitely lost a bargaining chip and that is ultimately a positive. That being said, the Sunday deadline should be the timeframe we are working with
1. This deal is horrible for Israel as usual, why is Israel getting shafted still with hostage exchange numbers? Why is it like 20 for 2000? Which side is winning exactly?
Hamas gets thousands of terrorists back, Israel gets unfortunately people who will have PTSD forever and will be a burden on society, just flat out saying it - those people are as dead inside as it gets and while they deserve freedom they aren't worth the price.
A reminder most of the October 7th mega-terrorists were released in the Gilad Shalit hostage deal, 1,027 for 1.
How did that work? Was one life worth it? Of course not.
Israel should get them for free or at worst 1:1, no more of this blood market.
2. Why does the occupation continue? Failstine needs to be shoved back to where they came from - Jordan, Egypt and Syria and while neither of those want them for good reason - I don't care, they can shoot them on arrival they'd be doing everyone a favor.
3. Israel should execute every single Failstinazi in Israeli jails, no questions asked no trial given, all must die, this will solve the issue presented in 1 and will send a message.
Any other terms is asking for Failstine to regroup, rearm and continue with their illegal occupation, dehumanization campaigns and illegal existence until next time.
We wouldn't accept those terms with ISIS.
Once the hostages are all released, Israel loses one of their primary justifications of continuing the war. Plus, Hamas gets hundreds of terrorists released from Israeli prisons. Once there are no hostages, pressure on Israel to end the war will increase considerably, including from the USA.
Without disarmament and an ISF to prevent re-arming, Israel will be back at war with Gaza within a few years, and Gaza will remain a hotbed of extremism and terror.
We will all be very surprised if they release all of the hostages. I just don’t see them doing it.
