The Virginia gubernatorial race has tightened in the campaign’s closing stretch, with Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears (R-VA) trailing Democrat Abigail Spanberger by just 3 percentage points in a new survey. An A2 Insights poll conducted from Friday to Sunday puts Spanberger at 48% and Earle-Sears at 45%, the narrowest margin reported in months.
The A2 Insights result contrasts with several earlier polls this month that showed Spanberger with a larger advantage. For example, a Sept. 8-14 survey from Christopher Newport University’s Wason Center found Spanberger leading 52%-40% among likely voters, while a Sept. 9 release from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Wilder School reported a 49%-40% edge among registered voters. Taken together, the numbers suggest a competitive race with late movement toward the Republican nominee, even as most public polling still shows the Democrat ahead.

I didn’t see this coming. If Winsome is due to have an uptick in her popularity, now is the time for it to start building up high.

Many immigrants or first generation Americans in NoVa may be disgusted by the recent actions of the Democratic Party and they do not work for the Federal Government. So it wouldn’t surprise me if Winsome is getting their votes now. Not every voter is a “AWFL”.
Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears is very weak sauce. Republicans could not find anyone better? She is a Jamaican immigrant, so no real slave blood here. Same as Barrack Obama, except that he comes from slave masters from his white mother. Her side has a few slave owners.
Typically, immigrants are more motivated. Our elites are telling us that the "American Dream" is no longer attainable for us.
Sears is pounding Spanberger on the trans issue with really good ads and lots of them. Must be working.
The outcome of this race could ultimately be determined by the turnout.
Versus the very slimy Spanberger, the postal inspector who got her job through he daddy (a postal inspector) and then went into the Clowns in Action in the Clandestine Service (Directorate of Operations) in the Middle East (supposedly in narcotics interdiction, a cover for something else). Has the face and personality of a weasel. The N. VA demonrat machine of fedgovs which now includes the twin brother of Nat Sec. Council whiner Ukrainian US Army Lt. Col Alex Vindman, one Eugene Vindman Congressman 7th Congressional District (VA)—all 3 in spookland, the Vindmans being quite corrupt in the pay of Ukraine skim artists.
Spanberger’s tilt to trannies is a very weak sauce indeed for the black conservative Trump supporting voters.
She’s a very good candidate. Her resume is good, and she’s not afraid of attacking Spamburger for being pro-trans and pro-criminal.
I think she will follow Gov. Younkin’s pro-business and pro- Trump agenda..
To denigrate her only promotes the anti-gun, pro-criminal alpha-Karen Spamburger.

But as I posted on the other thread, $10 million showing up in her account by the end of the week to close out the last month of the campaign would be nice. The Dem base is awake nationwide contributing to Spanberger. Our side doesn’t get that organized.
Well, who else was there that was “better” in Virginia than the incumbent Lt. Governor?
Youngkin himself would have been stronger but he can’t run for consecutive terms so he was not available. Though as a strategy perhaps he should have run for one of the down ballot races to be on the ballot as a motivator.

This is why we need federal troops guarding against election theft in close races.
Registered voters versus likely voters meet apple versus oranges. Not sure how you tell what is really going on with the data they are using here. I’ll compare tea leaves and animal entrails and adjust for the candidates horoscopes on the next new moon to get a better idea of what my magic eight ball says and report back
