Orbán’s Hungary to Follow Trump in Banning Antifa as a Terror Group
Breitbart ^ | 20 Sep | KURT ZINDULKA

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has announced that Budapest will follow the lead of U.S. President Donald Trump in banning the far-left Antifa group as a terrorist organisation.

On Friday, Prime Minsiter Orbán said that his government “will take steps to designate Antifa as a terrorist organisation in Hungary.”

“We applaud President Donald Trump for taking the lead, calling them what they are: terrorists,” the populist-nationalist leader added.

While Antifa is often defended as merely being “anti-fascists”, their name actually originates from Antifaschistische Aktion, the paramilitary wing of the German Communist Party (KPD) in the 1930s. In its latest incarnation, Antifa has become an advocate for an anarcho-style communism with a ‘by any means necessary’ ethos.

The loosely-nit collective often engages in street violence against police and supposed “fascists” throughout the Western world. It has also been suspected of being involved in the widespread infrastructure sabotage movement across Europe, including communications networks, railway lines, and even the German armed forces.

The world Left rages, and thereby shows their “Soviet” and “National Socialist” and “Italian Fascist” side.

In different movies and films, the same actors get different names and costumes, but they're still the same actors,

Orbán has been called the Hungarian Trump. I respectfully disagree.

Orbán took office in 2010. That was before the first Trump presidency. So perhaps it’s better to say that Trump is the American Orbán.

😀

Orban is by far the best leader in Europe which is why they are out to destroy him.

Agreed. Hungary is a breath of fresh air—compared to most of the rest of Europe.

A lot is differing Orban from Trump.

Examples:
Orban (and Slovakia’s Fico) is actively pushing against Trump’s push for Hungary to stop importing 90% of its oil exclusively from Russia. While the rest of the EU has gone all the way down to a trickle of 3%, next year that will be eliminated as well).

Orban’s Hungary is Europe’s grifter number one, as it receives billions in EU subsidies every year to keep its economy afloat. Without the EU, Hungary’s economy would have already crashed. Receiving subsidies on such a scale is a socialist mindset.

Hungary has alas recognized the state of Palestine. (Unfortunately most nations have, including Russia, Canada, UK, Australia, every single country in Asia, Latin America (but one).

Orban is incomparable to Trump. They are completely different when it comes to policies.

The only thing they have in common is being anti-woke. But that’s just common sense.

Orbán believes that an EU country is still a country, and not just a province of an empire. So the EU bureaucrats hate him, and want him gone - as you noted.

Permit me to suggest that you are actually making my case. Trump puts his country first. Orbán puts his country first.

It might not be ethical to import Russian oil. But it is a good move from Hungary’s point of view. Same thing with accepting any EU subsidies. That might be unwise in the long run. But the stupidity there is mainly on the part of the EU.

Yes, Hungary recognized the state of Palestine. That kinda bothered me. So I looked it up. It happened back in 1988, before Orbán took office.

From Wikipedia:

“In May 2024, Hungary was one of the nine countries which voted against Palestine’s UN membership. Hungary is considered to be one of Israel’s closest allies in Europe.”

Yup. Also…

September 12, 2025: Hungary was one of ten countries to vote against a new UN General Assembly resolution endorsing the New York Declaration, which outlined steps toward a two-state solution.

Anti-woke is all that matters, frankly. Everything else you listed is nibbling around the edges.

In Oregon, it was recently revealed that the Legislature included an $800,000 grant to the non-profit group that provides legal support to Antifa. It pretty apparent that Oregon’s Antifa is the Democrat Party’s private military.

“Anti-woke is all that matters, frankly. Everything else you listed is nibbling around the edges.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Anti-woke policies are very easy to implement, it’s just a matter of behaving normally.
Being anti-woke is so basic and normal that there is no real merit to implement such policies. It’s basic common sense.

Analogy:
Should we applaud and cheer someone because he or she knows how to eat food and drink water? Of course not, because eating and drinking is simple normal human behavior. It’s biological reality.

What is complicated though is to stop being addicted to Russian oil.
The EU has followed Trump’s push for ending oil imports from Russia. The EU now imports less than 3% of oil from Russia, it’s a trickle (which by the way will end completely next year). It has cost the EU a lot to do so, but it’s necessary.
Thus, the EU is collaborating with Trump. While Orban is combatting Trump on that HIGHLY important issue.

Orban is like a drug-addict on Fentanyl, unwilling to even try giving Hungary its independence back. Instead, Orban is cheering not for his OWN country but for the NeoSoviet warmongering Kremlin crowd - right now plunging Russia into the beginning of a recession (as confirmed the other day by the Russian bank).

I don’t respect lazy drug-addicts (Orban) who are combatting Trump and the EU on behalf of Russia and their Commie North Korean and Islamic-Iranian friends.

Positive stride for Hungary if Orban follows thru.

You again. Why shouldn’t Hungary get the best deal they can? Looking out for his country is his first responsibility. You’re always talking big about others sacrificing, but not yourself.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

They are not looking for a deal at all. They are simply VIOLATING Trump’s efforts to force peace on Russia.

According to you logic... If Russian neo-soviet people took Alaska because it’s in their best interest... would you then say: “Hey, why not! Why shouldn’t Russia get the best peace of the cake they can?”

You are always talking big as long as it benefits our opponents and not Americas and its allies interests.

Please, join the Trump train, and help denounce the nations that are actively pushing against Trump’s peace-efforts.

Orban is 100% opposing Trump’s peace effort.

Thus, to make it a bit clearer: It’s time for you to support Trumps peace efforts.
Why do you systematically appease those who oppose Trump’s peace efforts?

You’re a disgusting liar trying to say I don’t support President Trump’s peace efforts. Yes, a foreign weirdo accusing me of being anti-American. It’s you and the rest of the foreign weirdos that hate President Trump, and JD Vance too.
