What I think of “furries” is that they are jealous of the amount of love the family pets get compared to what they get from their parents. I think they adopt the persona(?) of a lovable pet. Pet me, feed me, love me. It’s sad actually to have such empty lives. It’s not the dog, it’s the owner. It’s not the furry, it’s the parents.

I came across a term in relation to these two that I hadn’t heard before: “transmaxxing”. Google for details but it’s basically what used to be called being a transvestite with the expectation that it will “improve their chances”. It’s not required that the person has the mental disorder of autogynophilia or has intentions to obtain surgery or even take opposite sex hormones. It’s still sick but it does explain some of their bizarre behavior, and is just as dangerous by perpetuating false beliefs.
