Unfortunately, I don’t see using the Guard as sustainable. These guys have other things to do and if they’re permanently locked into this task they’ll quit.
This is a political stunt. It’s an awesome stunt, but a stunt, nonetheless. The ultimate solution is electing people to office who prioritize citizens over noncitizens, and taxpayers over the “homeless.” Perhaps proving how Democratic policies are dangerous will result in this change. If so, this stunt will Live In Infamy.
