Six AfD politicians have reportedly died before the local elections in North Rhine-Westphalia.

According to POLITICO, in addition to the four deaths previously reported by the AfD, two candidates from the reserve list have also died. The state deputy chairman announced that an investigation into the cases has been launched.

AfD state deputy chairman Kay Gottschalk, however, believes there is not yet any reason to assume this is anything other than a coincidence.

Another federal deputy chairman, Stephan Brandner, is skeptical that this is a coincidence. Brandner, an AfD member of parliament, said, “From my perspective, this is a statistically striking situation that is currently difficult to explain. I have never heard of so many politicians from one party dying in such a short period before an election.”

On Sunday, AfD co-chair Alice Weidel made a post on X stating that this accumulation is “statistically almost impossible,”

Hillary was in Germany earlier this year. I wonder if she made “arrangements” while she was there.

This is amazing. State assassination? Muslim thuggery?

I did research over the six:

Wolfgang Klinger (age 71): Died of natural causes on or around August 19, 2025. He was a direct candidate for local council in Schwerte. He had serious pre-existing conditions (family said this).

Ralph Lange (age 66 or 67): Died of natural causes on August 28, 2025. He was a direct candidate for local council in Blomberg. He had serious pre-existing conditions.

Stefan Berendes (age 59): Died of natural causes on or around August 28, 2025. He was a direct candidate for city council in Bad Lippspringe.

René Herford (age 53): Died of kidney failure following a pre-existing liver condition, on or around May 28, 2025 (though reported in the context of the recent cluster). He was a reserve-list candidate in the Oberberg district.

Patrick Tietze (age not publicly specified): Died by suicide (date not publicly specified, but part of the recent reports). He was a reserve-list candidate in the Oberberg district.

Seventh guy: brought up this afternoon....older AfD guy in his 80s...natural causes listed so far. He’d had a ongoing illness.

Were those politicians all from the same district? Or were they from across Germany?

If it’s the former, that’s a bit unusual. If it’s the latter, maybe not so unusual.

And if I were a conspiracy theorist, I might say the left would target sick folks for plausible deniability. But it still would send a message.

But since I’m not a conspiracy theorist, I won’t say that.

Some journalist (German) said that in city council/district races for the state (every 5 years)....each party within the state will have a minimum of 3 expirations (my terms)...meaning Greens, SPD, CDU.

If you asked for physical health...most German guys over the age of sixty will say they are being treated for ‘something’ (high blood pressure, kidney trouble, liver, etc). Merkel had health issues the final 3 years. Same for Kohl.

Thanks for the info!

But now I’m wondering if Germany’s Deep State has been solving problems this way for a while now...

😱

This is a run-up to the NRW (the state in NW Germany) for city council/district (every five years). NOT a national election.

It’s pointed out to some degree....all of the parties will have a death or two...as the folks were certified within their district and put on the ballots. This group of 7 (7th today, 80-year old guy with ongoing health issues)...for the most part....just bad luck/bad health issues. I’ve yet to see anything beyond that.

Good homework. I see no big red flags, just an older group, probably all ethnic Germans with the health problems associated with growing up in post-War Germany now kicking the bucket demographically.

I’ll say...for my German village (4k residents)...probably 50-percent of the 60-to-70 crowd are on some health problem. Asking them to run for office would be the wrong thing.

“”They are all from the party German party in power has attempted to ban outright. One candidate was banned by courts recently””

Well, I guess murdering could be considered a form of “banning”. When they say politics is a blood sport...

they ain’t kidding.
