It’s important to keep in mind that it was not just “Hamas fighters” who committed mass atrocities in Israel that day, but also Palestinian so-called “civilians” who came in by the hundreds and participated alongside them. There is no difference. Hamas = Arab Civilians.

So - why didn't the IDF respond fast enough? Why did the Israeli government restrict the right to bear arms to those communities so near Hamas? Why did the local defense militias keep their weapons in armories under lock and key? Why weren't there regular training exercises/response drills?

Has anyone addressed these issues, remedied them, answered for their failures? I lived in Israel for a year, several years ago and things were slipshod even back then. Hamas saw the weaknesses and their murderers saw their opening.

You are this naive still? At one of the campus protests last summer a jewish group paid for a large pop-up movie screen to play unedited hamas videos across from the protests. It neither stopped the protests or slowed them down.

There are a sizable portion of westerners who are predisposed to align with the marxists, islamists, and other evildoers, that have infected our society. You cannot change their minds, or their ideological capture.

Someday, we will have to deal with them, to save our civil society. Hopefully not when it's at the brink or destruction.

A strikingly minuscule number of them might. But we shouldn't forget that the biggest killers of muslims are other muslims. Also, that doesn't make the losing muslims our allies. They all fight over who is the most radical and who possesses the most radical views of islam. The one uniting feature for the bulk of them are their shared hatred of jews and judaism, christians and christianity, and especially the West.
