Hey the more complainers we send on a permanent Costa Rican vacation the more businesses we can grab. For their own well-being naturally. You see any stray sheep getting mouthy feel free to inform.

One step towards Mussolini’s corporatism.

In addition to the outright Fascist step, it's a complete conflict of interest. The government is going to regulate a company that it owns part of. The SEC is going to run into problems on day one.

“At the end of World War II the United States owned 73 GOCO ammunition production facilities”

“Today [2011] there are seven Government Owned, Government Operated (GOGO) depots and six GOCO plants.”

“GOCO: EXPAND GOVERNMENT-OWNED, CONTRACTOR-OPERATED INDUSTRY”

“Plant 4 in Fort Worth, Texas, is a GOCO facility that has produced several bomber and fighter aircraft and is currently leased to Lockheed Martin for manufacturing the F-35.”

“The Sandia National Labs website describes how Sandia’s arrangement allows the U.S. Government and firms to focus on what each does best.

“The government invests taxpayer funds in facilities that safeguard national security and create jobs. Industry partners can utilize the facilities in conjunction with their decades of expertise and business acumen to build the weapon systems the nation requires.”

“The government’s equity stake will be funded by the remaining $5.7 billion in grants previously awarded, but not yet paid, to Intel under the U.S. CHIPS and Science Act and $3.2 billion awarded to the company as part of the Secure Enclave program. Intel will continue to deliver on its Secure Enclave obligations and reaffirmed its commitment to delivering trusted and secure semiconductors to the U.S. Department of Defense. The $8.9 billion investment is in addition to the $2.2 billion in CHIPS grants Intel has received to date, making for a total investment of $11.1 billion.”

“Under the terms of today’s announcement, the government agrees to purchase 433.3 million primary shares of Intel common stock at a price of $20.47 per share, equivalent to a 9.9 percent stake in the company. This investment provides American taxpayers with a discount to the current market price while enabling the U.S. and existing shareholders to benefit from Intel’s long-term business success.

“The government’s investment in Intel will be a passive ownership”

“The government will receive a five-year warrant, at $20 per share for an additional five percent of Intel common shares, exercisable only if Intel ceases to own at least 51% of the foundry business.”

This is unconventional, but with stock we get something back immediately. With grants and loans, we never hold anything because we don’t even get their deeds.

The Manhattan project including oak ridge was a government project. Not private.

To be clear, I really don't care about Intel...But the whole story makes little sense. Intel's boss likes the CCP, so trump 0wNz! him by buying 10 percent of a company in bed with the Chinese instead of somehow getting rid of the guy? Huh?

My real issue is the 600K spies. Trump has lost it. Hebrew Howie is in charge with Fat Susie the Gatekeeper feeding him garbage. We are losing, and being told we are winning bUt tRuMP gOnnA dOp Da FlAg BuRn1NG! b0oM! aMreIca!

What has he had to say about ‘10% for the Big Guy’ - the alleged skimming by FJB to get his cut of our enemies’ ‘family contributions’?

The democrats will do more of this. The companies who take the money will have strings attached. GM canceled the pensions for white collar workers even though it was against the law but GM was protected by the democrats because the democrats wanted the union workers vote. After the election GM moved alot of production to Mexico and screwed over the US union workers (as planned).

Not exactly true.. the US Gov built and owned a lot of sites, hangers, facilities that were leased to huge defense contractors for pennies..

This is gonna get a workout today...

“A truth that’s told with bad intent, Beats all the lies you can invent.”

William Blake

Consider the source for this news, and I don’t mean Kudlow, and keep the above quote in mind.

You have an education coming. It is not that simple anymore. Fink set the bar for the industry and new practices. The boards literally have extortion power over the companies they are invested in. And the “custodians” vote by proxy for all the shareholders without consulting the shareholders. Larry Fink is literally the most powerful person in the world right now and can make or break whole countries.

BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard are an organized collective who are invested into each other and work together to literally control the world and world politics through financial extortion and asset control.

“The Government built and owned the Dodge Chicago Plant, which turned out B-29 bomber engines at the rate of 1600 per month.”

The government did not build that plant but did choose Chicago as an aircraft engine production location. It was built in 1942 by the Chrysler Corporation for WW2 aircraft engine production. It was later used by a small auto manufacturer. The Air Force bought the facility in 1950 and contracted with private firms including Ford to use it for production of aircraft engines. The government did not own any stake in those private companies. The government sold the property to a private developer in 1959 and it now a shopping mall.

“So what was Kublow’s position on government motors, during the Obola regime?”

Zackly - Trump’s actions have made a couple other chip manufacturers decide to invest big time in America...The CHIPS Act doesn’t explicitly allow government investment in Intel, but it can be interpreted to have opened that door - the courts and SCOTUS will have to work it out for those who don’t like it.
