President Donald Trump presented Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky with a large map showing the 20% of the country under Russian control.
During the Oval Office meeting on Monday, a large map depicting the current battlefield status of the war was presented to Zelensky.
The eastern part of the map was shaded in pink to represent the nearly 20% of the country under control by Putin's forces after the nearly four-year war.
The map may play a roll in pressuring Zelensky to consider transferring territory in order to seal a peace agreement.
Zelensky arrived to the White House for historic talks with President Donald Trump and aimed at ending the Ukraine-Russia war.
Zelensky was joined by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italy's Giorgia Meloni, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Germany’s Friedrich Merz and more.
The Ukrainian president appeared without a tie for the meeting. It was a bold statement after his appearance in military fatigues stirred controversy during his last Oval Office visit six months ago.

Europe and the EU are a bunch of deadbeats that are faking their “tough guy” position with Moscow.
After the Ukraine government is forced into a peace deal, they’ll be back to doing business as usual.
They’re weak, phony, & feckless.
Let's say I invent a time machine. I'll go back to 1994. I'm in Moscow. I'll bring a briefcase with me and I'll bribe the guy with the codes. It shouldn't be that difficult. Especially in the aftermath of the collapse of the Soviet Union.
All of a sudden, the government in Kyiv got the codes.
Every Ukraine-side checkpost will be EU, Russia figures to sub-contract checkpoints to Norks, Tajiks, Belarus, usual suspects.
Zelensky is going to tell the EU that Ukraine fought their war -- prolonged by the EU and The White Hospice -- and now they need to put their young adults on the line, since the handful of EU mercenaries weren't all that great.
The security guarantees are the sticking point -- that's why Europe is sitting at that table -- or this would have been wrapped up in Alaska.
That DMZ is gonna be hotter than hell for months and finally one major massacre will break the damn dam, but then it will be the EU vs Russia. Trump is a freaking genius.
Trump is trying to get the sanctions dropped against Russia so there won't be an incentive to start the next war.
They never had possession of the nukes. The codes would do nothing with possession and the Russians would have fought any attempt to take them by force.
People forget there were lots of Russian troops left in many countries after the fall of the USSR and there was no way, they were going to let Ukraine get possession of the nukes.
People pushing these fallacies need to learn truth.
Ukrainian troops had the physical possession of the nukes.
But the codes were in Moscow.
So, they are pretty much the same as they always have been throughout history.
For the past year, they have been trying to get us involved in another "world" war on their continent.
