Since insurance companies are part of the deep state entourage this is not surprising.
Tax all registered Democrats to subsidize insurance cost of Teslas. Then they will start dealing with those of their own who attack and damage them.
Article is out of date. Why are you posting it?
The Teslaas here in Central Kentucky don’t seem to be getting vandalized much. In fact, I haven’t seen a vandalized one yet (knock on wood).
I bought one this month. Nothing different than any other time I insured a new car.

Who are you to say it is out of date?
I think it’s become yesterday’s news. Too many of the trans bois are getting videod doxxed and arrested.
My SIL was recently trying to decide whether to buy a Tesla 3 or a Subaru Outback. Since money was not an issue (they do OK) I suggested she check on insurance premiums for each.
She is now tooling around in a new Subaru.
They don’t absorb excess costs like this for any make and model.
Hahaha! Tesla’s are a dime a dozen in So Cal. I saw one a while back parked in a shopping center with an anti Elon bumper sticker. No doubt hoping to ward off this car from being keyed.
If insurance companies were smart they would give a big discount to Teslas that have Full Self Driving. Tesla’s own insurance does give a discount as long as it records you using it at least 90% (I think) of time. When you are using it, you cannot text, fiddle with the radio etc. or you get penalized. Too many penalties and you are restricted for a week and cannot use it. You literally have only 3-5 seconds to take your eyes off the road. If you become incapacitated it will try to wake you. If unsuccessful, it will slow and put on emergency flashers then come to a stop. No other car company has this technology. I find while I am using it that I can be more defensive and observant driver.
This reminds me that I’ve never seen an insurance price comparison between EVs and their hybrid and/or ICE competition.
same here in SFO Bay Area
What does out of date mean?
Old article. The leftatd attacks on Teslas seems to have waned.
Ah!
Well, there was an erroneously article came out today speaking in absolute terms that Tesla owners were going to lose their insurance
Didn’t pass my sniff test so, I researched the info from a source I could rely on
“What does out of date mean?”
No longer good for consumption.
