Bolivia goes to the polls on the 17th. This will be the first round for President (with the top two going into a run-off), and also the election of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. Currently, the President is socialist-left and both houses are controlled by the socialist-left.

After twenty years of socialist-left government, the country has fallen apart. It is pretty clear that, in the upcoming election, the people of Bolivia will reject the socialist-left and choose a new way forward. This is because both of the leading candidates for President are center-right candidates, and there is a big gap between them and the third-place candidate.

To quote Javier Millei, ¡Viva la libertad, carajo! (or, long live freedom, damn it)
