Immigration. I often thought American tourists could be used to interview potential immigrants to this country. Spend a little time with the locals. See what they have to offer this country in terms of skills, education, and KIDS. It would be a cheaper and more effective way to do the initial vetting of our newcomers so that they could hit the ground running should they ever come here. Written reports could be stored in a data base when the time comes.

What happened to the Heunis family is not an isolated incident. At least 3,000 white South African farmers have been killed since 1994. I've been to South Africa several times...both before *and* after Mandella. My most recent visit was about 8 years ago. We stayed in a very wealthy suburb of Johannesburg (it has a write-up in wikipedia) which is literally right next to a huge slum.

I'm no expert here but I can't see any hope for the country not becoming another Zimbabwe. I would ever advise white people there to get the hell out!
