RFK Jr. To Oust Key Health Panel Over ‘Woke’ Nonsense
The Daily Wire ^ | July 28, 2025 | Amanda Prestigiacomo

Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is eyeing another key health panel to reform, apparently due to members’ past “woke” comments and recommendations.

The panel in question is called the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, which has 16 members. The task force helps determine which cancer screenings and other preventative measures should be covered by insurance.

Sources told The Wall Street Journal that Kennedy is looking to oust all 16 members and replace them with his own appointments, as he did with a recent vaccine panel. RFK Jr. is reportedly motivated by past “woke” comments from the task force members.

The Journal highlighted recent commentary from The American Conservative, which detailed the panel’s “left-wing ideological orthodoxy.”

For example, the task force highlighted “racial discrimination” when discussing risk factors for anxiety in some children and teenagers. They also referred to pregnant women as “pregnant persons.” And in a publication on breastfeeding, the panel spoke about the “lasting psychological impact and stigma” of “enslaved Black women being forced to act as wet nurses.”

HHS said in a statement that Kennedy “looks forward to working with the USPSTF to improve public health.”

The apparent upcoming move follows RFK Jr. firing all 17 panelists on a highly influential vaccine panel called the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, known as ACIP. His explanation of the removals was to restore public trust, citing conflicts of interest.

Kennedy said ACIP had “never recommended against a vaccine—even those which were later withdrawn for safety reasons,” adding that the panel “failed to scrutinize vaccine products given to babies and pregnant women.”

ACIP held its first vote with 8 new members appointed by Kennedy last month, and they voted to recommend a shot that protects infants against RSV, a respiratory virus that can be deadly for babies. The panel has also recommended flu shots without a mercury-based preservative called thimerosal. Kennedy has already moved to cement the recommendation.

ACIP is expected to tackle the childhood vaccination schedule, which is riling up critics.

The Daily Wire has reached out to HHS for further comment on the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force.

I didn’t get vaccines until age 12 when they vaccinated the whole town for polio. It was on a sugar cube to temp us kids! That was 1963 and it was my mom’s first vax. She was 36. She’ll be 99 soon and still lives in her own apartment alone. She got the covid vax and boosters and got covid really bad and was in hospital for over a month on a ventilator with covid and pneumonia. She had 2 pneumonia shots, too. I didn’t get covid shot and didn’t get covid. I got 2 pneumonia shots and promptly got pneumonia plus many terrible reactions to it. I am becoming anti vax. When our kids were little there weren’t a lot of vax, thank goodness. They got chickenpox, no problem. I had chickenpox, mumps, measles... No Problem! I had a four year old friend who got whooping cough. She sounded awful but got well, no problem, and none of us caught it from her. This was in the 1950s. None of us got the small pox vax and none of us got small pox.

We were at an RTB... Reasons to Believe... meeting and our speaker who is an expert on disease, PHD, said during black death years in Europe the people who washed their hands often didn’t get sick and didn’t die. So the masses thought they were witches.

I'm surprised they did not say, "... the “lasting psychological impact and stigma” of “enslaved Black women and Black men being forced to act as wet nurses.”

Got a better idea - oust the whole unconstitutional federal healthcare apparatus.

The Constitution give the feds NO authority to regulate or meddle in healthcare.

The lowest cost, highest quality, and best healthcare system in the world is the free and voluntary cooperation DIRECTLY between doctor and patient. What America had before the 1960's. No gov't middleman interfering and raising costs from his own compensation demand.

Since when did politicians and bureaucrats become medical experts? Do you think some distant bureaucrat somewhere actually cares about your particular healthcare needs? That distant bureaucrat has his own agenda not yours but he will be quick to order you what to do based on his agenda. And there great evidence that part of gov't's agenda is wanting a portion of the population to die.

ENOUGH!!! NUKE UNCONSTITUTIONAL FEDERAL HEALTHCARE!! NOW!!!

good news: this panel has been issuing edicts favorable to the insurance industry, such as recommending cutbacks on prostate cancer screening:

"The US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) now recommends that men aged 55 to 69 should make an individual decision about PSA screening after discussing the potential benefits and harms with their doctors. For men 70 and older, routine screening is not recommended."

We had a construction company and were having problems with worker’s compensation claims that were costing us a LOT. I talked to the Dept of Labor & Industries many times telling them that some of these people were lying. Finally I got a private detective and got absolute evidence and despite the objections of the so called doctor & lawyers for the ex-employees I got the claims closed.

This is when I realized that the people at the Department of L & I had job security with the claims - the more the better. They did not care about the cheating.

Dept of Labor & Industries is another unconstitutional federal power grab.

When will the American People wake up and realize the 80%+ $3+ trillion unconstitutional portion of the federal gov’t is robbing them blind of their money AND their freedom?
