One usually thinks of cities as being where the crime is, not peaceful natural settings.

There’s a Sherlock Holmes quote in The Copper Beeches, “They always fill me with a certain horror. It is my belief, Watson, founded upon my experience, that the lowest and vilest alleys in London do not present a more dreadful record of sin than does the smiling and beautiful countryside.”

“I have no need for moonlight
You’re wrong to trust in sunlight
For I exist not just in storms
But in life itself in so many forms
To leave you cold”

Ken Hensley, singing the part of “evil”, in “Paradise / The Spell”, by Uriah Heep. (”The Spell” is an epic tune about good vs. evil.)
