I’m not in favor of burning anything to death, but as you pointed out pit bulls are dangerous. There have been several threads here over the years to attest to that.
This ugly dog occasionally visits us. The neighbor that owns it says it’s a pit bull and would harm no one. Yeah, right. It’s bred into them, they can’t help it. And we have a cat. If I catch that dog threatening my cat, the dog is dead.
If Satan had a pet, it would be a pit bull.
There have been some recent arrests across the country related to dogfighting lately.
Wonder if this arrest is somehow related and the perp was trying to destroy the evidence.

I actually ended up adopting a rejected bait dog, a Rottweiler.
She had horrific injuries and part of her tongue was missing as well. I can’t imagine all the abuse & and torture this poor dog went through.
She had no fighting bone in her body and never had any aggressive behavior.
She was the most loyal dog I have ever owned.

I swear, pits have terrible reputations, but having worked in rescues, they’re some of the smartest, most gentle dogs. It’s these sub-human low IQ Karmelos who need to be put down because of inherently violent behavior and poor impulse control.
I spent five miserable months in a school trying to teach POS’s like this to read. I was attacked twice in my classroom and mostly laughed at, by them, because I was trying to impart to them a necessary skill. But, when you have future rap star royalty in you presence, you have to learn your place, you know?
