-——heterofatalism——

Fake word to justify getting paid for writing pure drivelous balderdash

From the article:

just the big diagnosis that men are the problem, from a woman who has decided to pursue open relationships, casual sex and situationships into middle age.

Ironic, isn't it, the hypocrisy involved in criticizing women for what men themselves do? And yet they excuse it away by saying that casual sex and many encounters don't affect men the same way as women, completely side stepping the moral right/wrong aspect of such behavior.

What’s changed in the last generation or so? The ideology of Feminism is what. First wave feminism ie equality did not have this effect. By the time of 3rd wave Feminism however its toxic effects have been clear for all to see.

My understanding of the women’s rights movement was based a lot on women who wanted relief from alcoholic husbands who squandered his money on booze while they family went hungry, cheated on her, and beat her and the kids.

Not at all unreasonable goals.

But like EVERYTHING, it didn’t stop there.

I think one factor that played into it a LOT was during WWII, because so many men were in the military fighting, the women had to pick up the slack at home and work in factories and found out they COULD earn money and be more independent and self-sufficient. Which in and of itself should not be a problem either.

It’s the hostility towards men that showed up IIRC in the 60’s that caused the most damage. That’s pure poison.

And it snowballed from there.

...found out they COULD earn money and be more independent and self-sufficient.

Independence? Self-sufficiency?

This NY Post commentary is about the opposite. Jean Garnett laments that men won't cater to her demands and laments that she can't be a lesbian and have a woman cater to her either. No man nor any lesbian is keeping her from independence and self-sufficiency.

She doesn't want equality; she wants preferential treatment.

Because if it was about equality, why would she, as an independent and self-sufficient woman, care that a man won't enter into a relationship with her on her terms? These men's opinions are equal to hers and they're saying "no".

I’ve seen far more men bashing *all* women (not just the liberal ones) on here than vice versa.

You can call it bashing but it makes sense that more people would be calling out "Feminism" until there's a similar Communist movement called "Masculinism".

...except there won't be. Communism calls for "transgenderism", soy society, and simps. Yet women don't call those out.

Well, there is.

It's called MGTOW - Men Going Their Own Way.

And it's advocated for pretty strongly on FR.

Ironically, the men advocating for it are doing the EXACT same thing that they condemn women for with the feminist movement.

Women are calling out the trannies more than the men are. Or are J.K. Rowling, Riley Gaines, and Chloe Cole not really women?

Kudos to J.K. Rowling.

Riley Gaines never uttered a peep until after she was competing.

Let's hear from Chloe Cole's mother, the one who signed off on Chloe Cole "transitioning" as a minor.

You named three women. Lets see the millions of others who don't - mothers on school boards, female collegiate athletes, etc.

One, it's beyond MGTOW, and two, in what way is it the exact same thing as the feminist movement? Let's see it. Really, spell it all out. Don't hide behind a conflation that's nothing more than an intentional misdirection by Feminists.

The Feminist Movement is about control of others, including those like MGTOW who instead want no part of it. MGTOW, as you pointed out, is "going their own way" - not trying to control others.

The "exact" same thing as MGTOW would be WGTOW which is NOT what Feminists want. As a point; you've never seen anyone on Free Republic condemn women for going their own way because there's no such thing, regardless of what propaganda you may have seen written about the 4B Movement in South Korea. Even Feminists consider the 4B Movement a fringe movement.

Jean Garnett is free to go her own way but she resents that. This NY Post commentary is about her lamenting that she doesn't want to Go Her Own Way. She laments that no man will go her way and submit to her demands, and also that she doesn't want to be a lesbian and have a lesbian go her way and submit to her demands. (She shows her bias by assuming a lesbian would agree to that).

Jean Garnett doesn't want equality (the claim of Feminism) - she wants preferential treatment (the truth of Feminism).

Claiming men don’t need women and can get along fine without them.

Plus the animosity towards women in general.

It IS the same in those ways.

And as far as men not trying to control women, that is manifestly NOT true. Far too many men treat women as little more than property.

...the animosity towards women in general.

It's not animosity. It's indifference, and no, it's not the same.

Far too many men treat women as little more than property.

You've named one woman. How many men vs how many women were involved in Epstein's ring?

Correction: *You've* never seen anyone like that, possibly because you are not looking.

Apparently zero.

As I said, you've never seen anyone on Free Republic condemn women for going their own way. Never. Not even once - because there's no such thing as women going their own way. Even the 4B movement in South Korea is a fiction.

It's not men who would shut down women going their own way; it's Feminists who abhor that idea - it takes away their power.
