Sig Sauers for the military are made in Newington, NH. But what was wrong with the good old P226?
When I worked at a gun shop, customers would ask what the best pistol to carry was. I told them that everyone who worked there carried a Glock. One guy who worked there said that if he wanted to hunt the devil, he was carrying a Glock.
More reports of the 320 going off.
I was a defense contractor for a long time, on one contract we had a consultant that was a former Delta member (he never said so, it was documented in personnel files). He loved Glocks. They would feed any 9mm ammo, even the crappy ancient 3rd world stuff. Plus he said you never felt bad throwing one out the window of a bus while leaving an unfriendly country.
The Sigma was a rush job to get on the plastic fantastic bandwagon. S&W has had it’s share of clunkers over the years like the .35 Auto with a proprietary cartridge. The Sigma stole enough features from Glock that they lost a lawsuit and had to change some features.
