Dyan Cannon who was married briefly to Cary Grant and had his only child was on the Johnny Carson show. She said she knew Stanley Fimberg ( her second husband ) was the one for her the second time she had a date with him. So Carson asked her what was so different about Fimberg, since he Carson had gone on a couple of dates with her before too. That made her break into continuous laughter that didn't stop for quite a while. Wonder what was so funny about the idea of hooking up with Carson.

Say what you will about Cary but I went to school with his daughter, Jennifer Grant. She was a fine student who ended up at Stanford and a very nice unpretentious person.
There is nothing wrong with being an older dad. Not all of us are lucky enough to meet our future wives in our 20s
I read a tribute Jennifer wrote about her Dad a while back. It was touching and it was clear she loved him. I have found that to be a very good thing for a female to respect and honor their father. It is a good indication of how she will treat her husband.
