The U.S. House is expected to consider the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act next week. The bill would amend the National Voter Registration Act to require voter registration applicants to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to vote in federal elections. A similar bill passed out of the House in 2024 but stalled in the Senate. /

Coined by civil rights leader Congressman John Lewis, "Good Trouble" is the action of coming together to take peaceful, non-violent action to challenge injustice and create meaningful change.
The civil rights leaders of the past have shown us the power of collective action. That’s why on July 17, five years since the passing of Congressman John Lewis, communities across the country will take to the streets, courthouses, and community spaces to carry forward his fight for justice, voting rights, and dignity for all.
legacy of "good trouble."
Overview "Good Trouble" follows Callie and Mariana as they embark on the next adventure in their lives in Los Angeles. Mariana tackles the male-dominated world of tech, and Callie faces the harsh realities of the legal system as she clerks for a federal judge. After moving to The Coterie in downtown Los Angeles, Callie and Mariana realize that living on their own is not all it's cracked up to be. Although they have new neighbors, new romances, and new challenges, the sisters must rely on each other to navigate the City of Angels.

" good trouble"
Apt oxymoron for morons.
.
I suggest instead of this stupidly named protest that the protestors get their documentation in order for voting instead of walking around with signs signifying nothing.
Third world countries like India and Mexico have Voter IDs - and/or use the finger ink stain after voting to prevent repeated voting.
I always wonder if these are paid protesters and suspect they are.
I’m pretty sure it’s the same 12 loons that KRCR pimps for every time they protest something sane.
Our little enclave of communists had their “rally” yesterday. There may have been 10 old folks complete with knee high compression socks who were allowed out of their rest homes after dinner and pudding.
The rats have successfully brainwashed these morons. Fighting ID has absolutely nothing to do with suppression it’s to enable fraud. MSM knows this but helping the rats is their mission

Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of action to respond to the attacks on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration. Together, we’ll remind them that in America, the power lies with the people.

The TV show citation in my first post was a cut and paste mistake btw
Voter suppression Act, LOL. Being asked to show ID, should be the minimum to vote.
This was the cut and paste mistake, I thought I pasted over it.
Preview is our friend /-)

This TV show isn’t related to the political org .
This event seemed to be a big flop.
Look as throngs! There must be almost a dozen of them!
I’m surprised these people are allowed to live in Redding.
I was wondering about that. Thanks for the clarification.
That was some REALLY woke crap, too. The poor “sisters” Callie and Mariana...I was trying to figure out how that was in the article!
I’m surprised these people are allowed to live in Redding.

Why ?
/-)
We don’t ban people up here, despite the desires of the left .
/-)
Ya, my bad.
But the show IS probably drafting off the lefties oxymoron name and lefty org .
Filthy stinking Leftists.
What you touched on is the curse of Conservatism.
Conservatives must man the dikes that surround our society, and watch for breaks and leaks in it.
Leftists are like the great, black, vast ocean at night, pressing against the earthen dike everywhere, always, looking for weaknesses and cracks. They have lidless eyes. They never sleep. They never take a break. They never go on vacation. They never do anything else. All they do is press, in the dark depths, where nobody can see them, looking for a way to subvert the dike.
When they find one, they exploit it effortlessly.
Often, when we find a crack or weakness, it is too late to undo the damage done as occurred in the 2020 election. By the time we saw the water seeping in, the clock had started ticking, the damage was done, and we could not roll it back. That dike keeps out the sea of Leftism.
That sea of Leftism places pressure everywhere at the same time.
It is unchanging, unsleeping, and relentless in the same way a mindless black ocean pressing against it would be.
When it finds a weakness, it creeps through and begins eroding to pour in its destructive poison.
For the Left, this assault is a one-way ratchet, for the most part. Territory surrendered to them is almost never regained.
And we are stretched thin, fingers and toes in that dike, trying to keep them out. They don't sleep, which means we cannot sleep either.
