I looked up some details.

The California High-Speed Rail project has spent $11.2 billion on the Initial Operating Segment (IOS) and upgrades to existing lines.

Part of Phase One which is projected to cost $106.2 billion.

The completed project will cost a projected $130 Billion.

the really stupid part about this choo to nowhere is that if you fly from san fran to LA it take about 57 minutes, if you were to take the train meh what 2 hrs plus you need to get from the train station by what taxi urbur what??
