Hopefully not to the extent of risking that point by over exaggeration.

It’s been 17 years, and $16 billion, and no rail has been built.Sounds like Democrat planning, none of them have real world experience.

Eric Weinstein I believe he is part of the problem based on his last paper which he dressed it up to sound amazing which was a complete fabrication.
Weinstein primary subject was that intelligence community is collapsing from the failed plandemic operation and other operations which he pointed out and Epstein was likely a victim of that collapse.
Then his other articles.
Number of papers here where he wants to pump in people because we have a "labor shortage."
https://theportal.wiki/wiki/Content_by_Eric_Weinstein#Academic_Work 2018 here he is pushing the idea of limiting reach on social media based on an Reductio ad absurdum argument(criminal organizations shouldn't have media reach
https://youtu.be/UcfDAyLmHGk?t=1870 he is a charlatan IMO. Meaning he is great at wording BS to make it sound good. From my prospective he sounds upset in that video. As though he might be the next "victim"
As the Intelligence community is eating their own

They’ve been “preparing”.
To: Steve Van Doorn
in the same video from 2018. after he uses the Reductio ad absurdum argument(criminal organizations shouldn't have media reach)
he said, "I can't believe he(Trump) is allowed at the table of ideas. But that is were we're at."
To: traderrob6
Mighty expensive “preparing”. Think of all the corrupt officials in Ukraine who might have diverted that money to pay the staff at their Rivierra villas, or NATO paper pushers who could have “stopped” global warming./s

thanks for your views!
apprecaited.
He continues to amaze me with the vast scope of his instant recall (science and politics both). I just put a tracking tag on my key chain, ha!
He is correct or at least in the ballpark when he discusses how some universities have become heavy military research and development facilities (such work is not confined to the “national research laboratories” where it arguably belongs)
He is correct in the (obvious) assessment how super-dangerous Islamism is to the west, Christians, Jews, Hindus, etcetera.
He often says things without actually saying them. If pushed, he could say that he is prohibited from stating them explicitly .. or that he is afraid of suddenly suffering a premature termination, etcetera. Could be true. Could be theatrics. He “doesn’t say” certain things in a very effective, brilliant manner. As if genius (which he clearly is), trained (which he could well be?) or both. I can’t decifer which
All in all, he appears worth listening to. Which of his presentations you believe are correct, accurate, true... which may be false narratives designed, perhaps, by DeepState?... and which may just be wrong or even flaky....
makes for an interesting sport when there aren’t any good 1950’s reruns on the boobtoob.

He’s 110% correct. 17 years, $16 billion and no rail actually built. If it was actually a properly run project, like Brightline in Florida, it would probably take a few years, but you would slowly start to see rail or stations getting built, while site work progresses farther ahead. Then again, that was all done with private funding so your investors expect results. When is the taxpayers you can just drift off of it and become independently wealthy

They've spent between 15 to 20 Billion dollars on California high speed rail and they haven't even broken ground on it.

"Better idea—A high speed train from LA to Las Vegas "
I've been saying the same thing before this stupid project began. BTW, I voted no on the Bond.

"So, basically ten zillion tax payer dollars for a choo choo between Bakersfield and San Jose"
Actually, this first leg is from Bakersfield (medium size city) to Merced (a small town in nowhere). The whole project has been a joke. Why start it in the middle of the CA agriculture area? From Frisco to Bakersfield I could almost understand. Or from LA to Bakersfield maybe.
As I agreed with another poster: LA to Vegas would have made more since. I've been preaching that for decades.

yes, Eric Weinstein is right about many if not most things.
Best lies are based on basic truths.
