Posting on Truth Social Tuesday morning, President Donald Trump accused California Democratic Senator Adam Schiff of committing mortgage fraud.
"I have always suspected Shifty Adam Shiff was a scam artist. And now I learn that Fannie Mae’s Financial Crimes Division have concluded that Adam Schiff has engaged in a sustained pattern of possible Mortgage Fraud. Adam Schiff said that his primary residence was in MARYLAND to get a cheaper mortgage and rip off America, when he must LIVE in CALIFORNIA because he was a Congressman from CALIFORNIA," Trump said.
"I always knew Adam Schiff was a Crook. The FRAUD began with the refinance of his Maryland property on February 6, 2009, and continued through multiple transactions until the Maryland property was correctly designated as a second home on October 13, 2020. Mortgage Fraud is very serious, and CROOKED Adam Schiff (now a Senator) needs to be brought to justice," he continued.
Last year Schiff was hit with an ethics complaint over allegations he committed mortgage fraud.
"For more than a decade, California Senate hopeful Rep. Adam Schiff has claimed his primary residence is a 3,420 square foot home he owns in Maryland, according to a review of mortgage records.
At the same time, Schiff, a Democrat, has for years taken a homeowner’s tax exemption on a much smaller 650 square foot condo he owns in Burbank, California, also claiming that home as his primary residence for a reduction in his tax bill of $7,000. He did not take an exemption on his home in Maryland.
While Schiff has signed documents asserting both the Maryland property and the significantly smaller Burbank condo as his primary residences, tax records indicate that he paid his California property taxes in 2017 with a check featuring his Maryland address – the only year he paid with a personal check. And a review of past comments, pictures shared on his public social media, and records indicate Schiff makes his full-time home in Maryland."
Schiff has been a longtime opponent of Trump. He abused his position as chairman of the House Intelligence Committee to proliferate the Russian hoax and launch impeachments during the President's first White House term.

I don’t know what the truth with the Epstein files are but since the Epstein file dodge last week the DOJ has announced Comey and Brennan are under investigation, the Autopen scandal has a name and can now target Fauci and now a target on Schiff. If nothing else the Epstein scandal is forcing the administration to go hard on other promises.

I think if the FBI picked up the local property ownership of Senators and House members....looking at their mortgage deal/paperwork....more than 30 would have something illegal/fraudulent. I’d make it simple...admit it immediately and correct it (paying the fine)...or we take you into a court situation. Then I’d make it a yearly review (to keep folks honest).
Speaking of, whatever happened to Letitia James’ mortgage fraud case? More bloviating by Blondi and the DOJ? That should have taken about 24 hours to indict if they were serious. 3 months into the FBI investigation and crickets.
One of many - a longtime Kansas senator (R) lived in Virginia and only went to the state for occasional scripted ‘town halls’ and a couple campaign visits every six years. Never went back to the state after his last election.

Without knowing any of the facts, and just going on his bug eyes and his evil demeanor, I would have to say yes, Adam "Shifty" Schiff probably committed mortgage fraud. He definitely looks like the type. I suggest for the safety of the public that he be immediately be incarcerated until further notice. Just to be on the safe side.
Stuff like that is why the 17th Amendment must be repealed!
Wherever your homestead exemption is recorded is your primary residence. Full stop. If Schiff lied on loan papers to get a mortgage on the MD house we’re talking $5,000 fine and 5 years in the slam.
