Is Israel geographically that small and narrow enough that only a few nuclear bombs could devastate it with blast and fallout effects?

Israel is very tiny. But the principle is that the Islamic Republic means what it has been saying since 1991 about annihilation .

Israel is roughly the same size as the state of New Jersey.

point is only 9 miles wide

Yes, Israel is so small that it would be largely wiped out by any serious nuclear attack that was able to get a surprisingly small number of nuclear strikes in key areas.

Iran will not have modern large-blast nukes, but Israel’s target would be the less than 600 sq mi of the Central and Tel Aviv Districts, home to perhaps 4 million people.

Wouldn’t take out retaliation ability.
